Tour Itinerary

The itinerary below follows the supplied quotation. Sightseeing is subject to weather, road conditions, permits and local closures.

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), meet your vehicle and drive to Gangtok. Check in at the hotel and relax after the journey.

Overnight: Gangtok.

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake, approximately 35 km from Gangtok at an altitude of around 12,400 feet. The lake is surrounded by mountains and its appearance changes with the seasons.

Continue to Baba Mandir, dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh. The quotation notes that only Indian nationals are allowed to visit the temple.

Permit and weather note: Nathula Pass is optional, subject to permit availability, weather and road conditions, and is listed at approximately ₹5,500 per car on direct payment. It is closed on Mondays and permits may be limited. If Tsomgo Lake closes due to landslide or other reasons, alternate sightseeing may be provided.

After breakfast, drive from Gangtok to Pelling. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Pelling is a peaceful mountain destination in western Sikkim, known for views of Mount Kanchenjunga when weather conditions are clear.

After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing, including Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, Khecheopalri Lake, the Skywalk, Kanchenjunga Falls and Rimbi Falls, as listed in the quotation.

Entry fees, ropeway charges and personal activities are listed as extra unless specifically confirmed as included in the final package.

Overnight: Pelling.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and drive to Darjeeling. After arrival, check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure, depending on arrival time.

Darjeeling is known for its Himalayan views, tea gardens, waterfalls, small hill villages and heritage railway.

Weather and permit/token permitting, start early for Tiger Hill to view sunrise over the Himalayan range, including the Kanchenjunga region. Visit Ghoom Monastery on the return route.

After breakfast, the quoted city tour includes the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological Park, Peace Pagoda, Tibetan Refugee Centre, Tenzing Rock, Gombu Rock and a tea garden viewed from outside.

Closure and optional activity notes: The quotation says the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Zoological Park are closed every Thursday, and the Tibetan Refugee Centre is closed on Sunday. 2. Permits and weather: Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass and Tiger Hill sightseeing depend on permits, weather and road conditions. Alternative sightseeing may be offered if a location is closed.
3. Transport: The vehicle is point-to-point and not at disposal. Transport cost may increase with fuel prices. Additional halting charges may apply for optional attractions.
4. Hotel availability: Rooms and rates are subject to availability at booking. Rates may change if hotels or room categories need to be changed. Room heaters are chargeable directly.
5. Payment and cancellation: The quotation states that payment is on an advance basis and booking is done after full payment. It also states that payments are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-adjustable after booking. Review the full policy in writing before paying.
6. Documentation: The quotation requests four passport-size photographs and photo identity proof for all travellers, in hard and soft copy. It says PAN Card and Aadhaar Card are not acceptable for Sikkim and Bhutan; confirm the currently accepted documents for your route and nationality before travel.
